March 2017 | HARDWARE RETAILING 21 New NRHA Members Win Big for Valentine's Day N RHA showed just how much it loves retailers with a Valentine's Day-themed contest for new members. Retailers who signed up as new members of the association between Feb. 1 and Feb. 14 were eligible to win one of two prizes: a free membership for 2017 or a free trip to the NRHA All-Industry Conference and National Hardware Show ® in Las Vegas, May 9-11. Weist Hardware based in New Cumberland, Pennsylvania, won the free membership for 2017. "I am so excited and honored to begin this partnership with NRHA,"says Weist Hardware co-owner JoLynn Weist. "I certainly plan on using the training modules on the website. I have some new hires who could use the training on products and more seasoned employees who can just use a little refresher on selling and merchandising." Washburn Hardware & Sport based in Washburn, Wisconsin, won the free trip to the NRHA All-Industry Conference and National Hardware Show.
